1. What's the best way to use Mintal Sleep? Where do I start?

Welcome to Mintal sleep and congratulations on taking this step towards a healthier you!


If you have come to Mintal sleep to learn asleep fast or mindfulness meditation, we recommend beginning with the 7 Days of Mintal sleep, and then move on to the 21 Days. With that foundation, you can explore our app of sessions and programs, which address themes such as sleep, focus, and relax. Thousands of people around the world start their day with these, each of which explores a fresh topic or theme. It’s a great way to develop a regular practice.


Also, we suggest cutting down on potential distractions during meditation by using headphones and switching your phone to airplane mode / do not disturb mode before pressing 'play'.


If you have come to improve your sleep, we have a collection of over 100 Sleep meditation to help you drift off to restful sleep, and more. We update our Sleep Stories selection with new options to listen to every week. We also have a collection of soothing Sleep Music.

The Mintal Sleep app is free to download and some free content is available, but a paid subscription to Mintal Sleep Premium unlocks access to Mintal Sleep’s entire content library.


2. How do I purchase a subscription?

You purchase begins with a trial here. You can also start and make an in-app subscription purchase through iTunes by tapping one of the locked contents in the app. After completing discount trial of Premium, you will be charged weekly.


Please note: We are not able to modify or directly refund subscription purchases made via Apple's AppStore.


3. How do I cancel my subscription?

You'll just need to turn off auto-renew within your phone's iTunes account settings. Mintal Sleep is not able to manage this for you on our end, but the steps are easy and you can do it at any time. Please see this support article for details: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4098


4. Does Mintal Sleep Offer Refunds?

Apple handles all billing for in-app purchases made on iOS devices. Customers who subscribed to Mintal Sleep through iTunes will need to reach out to Apple directly with any refund requests. They are typically able to honor all refund requests within 30 days of the purchase date (but it's at their discretion). 5. What are some of the benefits of meditation?

There are many benefits to meditation. Here are a few of our favorites!


Meditation teaches us to calm the mind, develop concentration, and increase awareness. With greater awareness of our thought patterns and emotional habits, we learn how to relate to ourselves and our circumstances in a more objective, compassionate, and skillful way. This helps us engage in life more completely. It teaches us to understand and work with our emotions and break our habit of reactivity.


Another common outcome is a sharper mind. Meditation can help increase our ability to focus and concentrate. It can help us recondition our minds to break bad habits, sidestep our impulses, and avoid distractions. Research shows that meditation can significantly increase your ability to sustain focused attention on a single task for an extended period of time.


In terms of physical benefits, with regular practice, we often see a decrease in grey matter in the amygdala, which plays a big role in anxiety, stress, and compulsivity. And as the amygdala shrinks, we see an increase in gray matter in the pre-frontal cortex – associated awareness, concentration, and rational decision-making. When you meditate regularly, you start to respond to difficult situations with a more level-headed approach.
